Help understanding weekly rotation

When they say these are 'farmable' what do they specifically mean? I can do Spire everyday for example and get a loot roll on each boss. I know the secret chests are weekly in each dungeon. Just don't get this whole rotation business. Please and thanks.

If something is "farmable", it usually means it can be run any number of times and still give rewards, unlike other activities that only give rewards one a week. If Spire is farmable in a given week, you should be able to run it as many times as you want in that week, not just daily, to try for the loot you want.

So if it's on rotation, the dungeon can be run multiple times in a day? Even the secret chests?

If a dungeons not on rotation can I do it on Monday for example and get loot rolls again on boss kills on Tuesday the next day?

Spire is part of the Dungeon rotator, so you can't get new loot on subsequent runs in the same week. If a Dungeon is featured, you can clear it (or one of its encounters) over and over again and get new loot.
Weekly reset, and rotator change, is every tuesday at 5pm UTC.

Even for Raids/Dungeons in the weekly rotator (featured activity), the secret chests can still only drop loot once, per character, for the week (so you can't just load in and try to farm those for your loot). The featured Raid/Dungeon can be fully cleared or you can farm specific encounters as many times as you want for that entire week for weapons/armors, however.

oh cool so non rotation stuff can only be done once in the week whereas stuff thats on rotation can be done repeatedly except chests?
