Dumping matterweave items

While this particular method for using those things may not be for all, it works, it's easy and you can get through 15-20 matterweave's in 5 mins.

Get to the Moon, head to Archers Line. Find one of those chests that require 3 symbols to open. I find them in the tube next to the pubic event area on the immediate right side and in that tower in front of you as you enter from the south.

Activate your matterweave and shoot the WRONG 1st symbol. A yellow-bar hive knight will spawn (Wealth Keeper, I think). Easy kill. If the engram shows with your Enhancement core, rinse and repeat. If no engram drops, just wait a second or two and shoot that (WRONG) rune again to spawn another hive knight.

The whole thing only takes a few seconds. Frankly, it takes more time to activate the matterweave than to collect the results. Note that it's not a guaranteed drop, and there are times where I have to kill 2-5 knights to get a core. But, it's still a quick and mindless way to slowly convert those things.

Oh, and watch for the jokers that think you don't know what you're doing and provide a 'helping hand' by finishing the code and opening it for you. If it happens, ride out of the area and back in to get a new instance.

This is nothing new and people have been farming that night for various reasons even since Shadowkeep released. You can also just ignore the item in your inventory and just focus on playing the content your actually interested in, is not like that one space is essential.

Well, I didn't imagine it was new, but considering how many new players there are, perhaps it was of some interest. I'm thinking especially those with few upgrade materials. I don't need the space, but I certainly don't need 800 of the bloody things and if all it takes is a few minutes a session to dump 10 or 20, then I'm fine with it.

certain planets have enemies that count as powerful that appear during public events, such as nessus. activating a matterweave and farming public events and yellow bar enemies on really any planet is a viable choice

also idk how you have 800 finest matterweaves, i could dismantle everything in my vault and get at most like 5 of them

Been playing for a while. I have whittled it down to 600ish however.
