Thoughts on RoN?

My team managed to finish day 1 in 17 hours. It was my first day 1 raid completion (I had only gone in Vow and Kf day 1 before hand), and I think it is a really fun raid. After day 1, I think it will be like most raids, super easy. Mechanics are cool, environment 10/10 and the boss fights intense.
-1st encounter completed in about an hour
-2nd encounter completed in about an hour and a half
-3rd encounter completed after 8/9 hours
4th encounter completed after around 7 hours

Fun and thats all it really needs to be, in terms of difficulty when thinking of after contest it'll be around DSC/TTK/VOG level which I think is great for both new comers and older players, it'll be fun to run through and to teach which is great.
Visually its fantastic, personally its a massive let down for what Nezarec is like, I wish he was more imposing or massive but I guess we'll never get something like Oryx's appearance again, I do however want no more raids inside of Pyramid architecture lmao 2 is good.

When a raid gets WF in 2 hours, speedran in 30 minutes, flawless'd and trio'd all during contest you know its a bit too easy, even by modern standards

Aaaand a quick search on Raid Report reveals it took you over 5 hours to do it. Soooo how is it a 2 hour raid? Stay in your lane.

Try reading comprehension before telling someone to stay in their lane. He was talking about World First being two hours.

Ok, I apologise. When searching your name the top result came up with a 5 hour result. I guess someone else has the same name. So, it took you 13 hours then? So 13 hours is to easy?

Yes, much too easy. First, looking at a stranger's placement is not a good indicator of difficulty. You have no idea if i was carrying my team or if i was dead weight. It was much easier than king's fall, which only(!) took me 11 hours. I'm sure you don't care for my raid tales, but since you brought it up, we reached nezzy in 4 hours, and choked on our first final stand at 5 hours. Then fatigue and trivial mistakes dragged out the fight for another 8 hours. We didn't struggle, and made good time overall, we just choked hard on the final boss.

I'm not even saying the raid is too easy outside of contest mode, i just think that contest raids should be harder and more demanding. Frankly, with how poorly we played after the 6th hour, we probably wouldn't've gotten the day1 if it were as hard as kings fall.

Also I have no clue how you found a Jagdtiger with a 5 hour time, i'm the only remotely active guardian with this name (Jagdtiger#8140)

It shows as 5 there because 5 hours was the time of the final instance after we relogged to fix instance issues (broken banner). If you go to the previous page you'll see the real time next to our fireteam on the leaderboard
