Is there any fast way to earn 300 points for the catalyst? I'm at like 79 and this sucks

Catalyst boosters from season pass lvl 11 and 22 should work with old quests

Wait until you get to the final step. You need 100 Guardian kills with a grenade launcher. Bring it into momentum control, that's how I farmed mine.

Eliminations actually. On Tuesday I played 3 crucible matches. in 2 of those I got 3 HGL kills and 0 special grenade launcher kills. Still got 9/100 so it seems to count guardian eliminations if your team mate kills them before you.
