Didn't get campaign Exotic?

So I beat lightfall campaign on my titan, and I thought I could collect Abeyant Leap exotic leg piece, but Naughty Nimbus only gave me an exotic engram. Can you only choose the reward on your first character's playthrough or did I screw something up?

After completing all story missions on legendary and you go to collect your exotic reward.. choose the one you LEAST want. As the overall roll with be low.

Then on a day the lost sector comes around for the piece you do want.. farm it solo and as exotics you don't already own will drop before you get repeats, You're guaranteed to get one with a high overall roll.

Hi there!

In order to get the exotic armor as a reward, you must complete all campaign missions on Legendary difficult.

Beating the campaign missions on Classic mode will not earn you a campaign exotic.

the Cyrtarachne's Facade helmet I got for the Hunter had a 67 base, with big mobility and decent distribution. I think they changed it, because my Lorely Splendor I got after Witch Queen had like 50 overall lol

if you beat it on classic, can you go back and do it on legendary for the exotic or no?

I beat the campaign on legendary, fat fingered my mouse and clicked on the wrong exotic. Played the entire campaign AGAIN with a new titan but after beating the campaign I wasn't given any exotic (except one I earned a long time ago, but wasn't offered a choice). Bungie why can't I get an exotic on a second play through??

Not the case anymore. All classes will get a 67 overall. Not a spikey roll but a good all rounder.

double check and make sure you actually beated all mission on legendary.
i was like wtf on my 2nd playtrough too, but it turned out that 1 mission was not completed...

And if thats not the case, then maybe you can only get the reward once per class,
If thats how it works then kind off annoying but i also understand why, to prevent you from getting both exotics that easily..

Yes, although if you just want the exotic there are much quicker ways to get it.

Beat the whole campaign on Legend and Ikora gives it to you in post-game. However, you can also just earn it from running lost sectors when exotic arms are in rotation; they will probably have better stats too.
