About getting mods question (answered)

I been reading on Discipline Armorer mod for my Ghost and so far I don't seem to have it, do I need to do certain activity or is just some NPC that sells it at certain times?

I been away for a while from this game, since before game came on steam actually so I am kinda at loss here.

I have just learned of reason why I haven't encountered any mods in a wild while playing game, apperentely weapons and ghost mods are both bugged from obtaining, so all new players and returning can't get them until that bug is resolved, bungie is already aware of that and even has this listed in issues under this link that's been updated since march 13th this year:

Under "Items and Weapons" it clearly says:

"Weapon and Ghost mods aren't currently obtainable for players."

Ooookey, a little update, I was just doing some crafting for quest and just as my mouse howered over weapons mod slot I noticed I had more then one mod available (previously I only had one mod to choose from), on hunch I decided to check mods for ghost and there it was, Discipline Armorer was there available!? Maybe this current new update did something?!

Mm... I thought it was just available, but I could be wrong.

Make sure you check each slot. My recollection is that the armor choice mods go in the middle two slots.

its in the 3rd slot from the left in your ghost (Economic Ghost Mod), looks like a grenade and is the first selection in the second row, everyone should have this with no need for game progression, it has a cost of 3 energy points to equip

Hmm... well, that sucks if that's the case.

I can see restricting people who are new, but by the time you get to 5 or 6, you should have access to those.

If that's true, then it would be even more difficult for me, from what I read it requires Lightfall to own as well especially.

Over 6 they're supposed to reset each season I believe.

I don't believe that's true, you should be able to get to 6 even if you're an FTP player (AFAIK).

Never mind, you meant rank 7, and yeah, that does seem to require Lightfall.

I have the same issue as OP, i played back when forsaken was released. Recently I wantet to play destiny again, but i dont have the Armorer Mods :/
