If I already own Witch Queen base game on Steam, can I add a Deluxe Witch Queen key to my account still?

I bought the Witch Queen on sale, but overlooked the need for dungeons. I could buy the dungeon key in-game, but if I go for the WQ Deluxe I get a bunch of extras too.

I can find the Witch Queen Deluxe (full expansion, not upgrade) on key sites for 14 quid, which is cheaper than the dungeon key... will it let me add this to my steam account if I already own the base Witch Queen?

Hmm... dunno.... make sure you really want whatever the extras are though, and make sure you're not paying more than the base cost of the Dungeon key.

And do bear in mind, Year Five is over, none of that seasonal content is playable anymore.

It's cheaper than the dungeon key by 2 quid, and I get the catalyst for Osteo Striga so it seems like a no-brainer to go for the Deluxe Version.

Wish I'd thought of this before buying the base, I just have no idea if Steam will let you add expansions this way for the extra content. :/

It will work. I did this exact thing, didn't realize I bought only the base version originally

So just want to conform that if I buy the full expansion now (post lightfall) if I will get the key
