How do i equip store bought Armour Ornaments?

I don't play destiny and i didn't like how my character looked so i bought an outfit, can anyone help me figure this out

Go to your inventory after buying something (By pressing i), switch to the right in your inventory menu and then look for the thing you bought in the secondary tab..

If you paid with Silver, first you need to unwrap the item, it goes to a special spot in your inventory for 'wrapped' purchases. You can choose to refund it, or unwrap it, which will make the ornaments available to you.

I am assuming this is a bundle of Legendary ornaments, first you need Legendary gear, in case you're wearing 'blue' rare items. If you've got Legendary pieces, you can apply the ornaments in two ways, firstly by examining the gear piece directly, there is an 'appearance' subscreen that will let you select from all owned ornaments.

Or if you go to your character screen, down to the the ship/sparrow section, there will be an option called 'customise appearance', you can unlock ornaments here or choose to apply already-owned ones.
