Did not get Swarmer pants

So if i understand correctly if you complete the campaign for Lightfall you get awarded the Swarmer Pants. I have completed it and did not get the item, it doesn't show that i ever got it in my collection tab. what am i missing?

Did you finish the entire campaign from start to finish/end on legendary?

You get two exotic choices when finishing the FULL campaign on legendary. Swarmers is one for warlock and I forget second. If you picked the other you will need to do legend lost sectors to get the other option.

On the main neomona map mud left side are two symbols for the campaign. Select the legendary one and you should be able to run through the campaign on leg.

i did that it just keeps putting me in the first mission and doesn't actually replay the campaign.

Before you launch first contact there should be a selector above it saying classic. Flip it to legendary.

did that. lets me play out the first mission with legendary mods then dumps me back on the world map and doesn't actually start the quest line again.

Yea it wont start the quest, you just do each mission individually on legendary difficulty and once done it should give the final rewards.

I did it immediately on legend so sadly cant be 100% sure but think it should work that way.

You should be able to go back to that, click on the mission name before launching and then select the next one in line after that.
