Do you get a new subclass in WQ?

I havent been able to play the game since beyond light. I just finished lightfall intro quest. Seems like we get a new subclass if we buy the expansion. Is this the same for Witch Queen as well? Do you get something cool like we got stasis and whatever this new green thing is called

No, there is no new subclass in wq.
WQ had a big overhaul for subclasses overall so it felt new back then

Witch Queen included overhauls of all 3 Light subclasses to "Light 3.0" which effectively turned them in to the build crafting format Stasis used, which included new super variants and all the augments Stasis had equivalents of. These were included with the base game so everybody has access.
