You are missing the point, other loadout managers does more than what Bungies one does.....though ultimately, its not so vital, but its the principle.
There are occasions where which ship/sparrow you're using may be a factor.
? Your ship has no bearing on gameplay, its cosmetic through n through.
Sparrow tho diff story. But once your using always on time its hard to pick any other exotic sparrow.
If you have AoT it'll always be on if you switch it off you're an idiot and your ship doesn't mean jack lmao
And even more importantly, you can select what you DONT want changed. For example you ONLY want to change your armour but dont want to ♥♥♥♥ with your weapons or vise versa. Especially now that changing exotic armour steals yours super, swapping weapon loadouts is dangerous unless your armour always remains exactly the same. It's utterly worthless

That energy penalty only applies to Trials and Competitive Division.
