These DLCs are so expensive

I really like this game, but the DLCs are just egregiously expensive. I'd love to still play it, but 50$ for just a single DLC is rather unaffordable and to add to that, the legacy collection costs another 60$. Without any of these DLCs there is pretty much nothing to do. Bungie should severly lower their prices because it's scaring off many players.

IMO, given how much we pay each season the price should be $30. These aren't full games alone and they shouldn't be priced as such.

It's funny how it was celebrated when Bungie managed to break free from the eeeevil publisher...

...but nothing changed... some say it got worse, I wouldn't know, I haven't played since Forsaken as the asking price for content offered is pretty ridiculous on top of the whole REMOVING old content you paid for...

Just to put it into perspective. Witch Queen Deluxe was 99.99 CAD. Lightfall deluxe is 124.99 CAD.
It has gotten worse in just the last year alone

I was so excited when Bungie went solo. I was ready for the "real" Destiny to come! Sadly it never really did. Many will disagree but I would prefer Destiny have a sub model.

Comparing Endwalker or Dragonflight to a Destiny expansion is such a big difference. One, XIV and WoW, love them or hate them give you a ♥♥♥♥ load of content compared to any Destiny expansion. Especially solo content to just do when you're bored. Much larger zones to explore, etc.

I quit Destiny after Beyond Light. The game, while not bad just feels lackluster to grind. One day I hope I want to play it again but Lightfall isn't it.

I have an internal fight everytime Destiny has a DLC about whether or not I should buy it. I agree that 30 dollars would be much more reasonable. I don't bash want to bash them for it because they do make good stuff and you can still enjoy the game without it.

The upfront cost makes up for the Seasonal Pass, and since we've not had the option of purchasing which season we want, being $15 - $20 (give or take) they've bundled upcoming content within one-time purchase. Say the Expansion did not include four seasons, bundled, the cost of the Expansion would more than likely range from $40 - $50

Funnily enough, that options exists, except Bungo has found a way to sell off Raids and Dungeons, not just a Seasonal Pass. So, the Deluxe now includes those Dungeons and upcoming Raids. You add up all this future content, undetermined of whether that content is even any good, and you round that cost up the price of Lightfall Deluxe.

Even if you were one to not care for Dungeons and Raids, you cannot purchase which season you want, correct? Say the first season is decent, you'd like to spend $15 - That option no longer exists. Say the second season is absolute trash, dumpster fire, garbage content. Normally we'd simply skip the season, save money.

The choice is up to you on whether you find value in a $100 EXPANSION and welcoming to the idea that The Final Shape could, in fact, be priced $125 come next year.

The real kick in the teeth is the prices on epic. Lightfall nearly half price and the others even cheaper.

yea let em go pay 15 dollar in sub fees after buying a game, and then they can go buy expansions on top of it
