Region chests in Neonuma not counting towards "From Zero" Quest

anyone else have this issue? I've been going to so many region chests and the progress isn't counting and it's pissing me off since I can't get better gear any other way to start the campaign.

same, and i get killed by stuff that is 100 level above me. Much fun

Only region chests count, the gold ones. Aside from that, I've had no issues.

not the random chests in free roam. The region chest marked on the map. They very hidden and some are impossible to access until you unlock strand

The region ones are still the rectangular ones yeah? They're not the horny gold ones right?

Rectangular yellow chests, same as region chests on other locations.
Believe there is also a sound effect coming from the chest.

You can reach them without using Strand:
try with having a lightweight weapon equipped
and jumping from better angles.

Region chests are the shiny gold ones, not random chests.
