What is Annual Pass ?

Yes you can buy them seperately if you like to access the season content and remember Dungeon 2 key only available to Annual pass holders. Not sure if its available outside as a le carte

You will ONLY get lightfall if you but lightfall.

Legacy collection will get you the other DLCs.

Annual pass contains all the seasons (4 seasons) of this year.

Annual pass is only for the 4 season passes for Lightfall. It's only worth getting if you intend to play through all 4 seasons (which is an entire year)

I don't know, if it's like witch queen DLC the option without the pass locked you out of a ton of content. If you buy the non pass version you basically get the story mode and a few things to grind for while being locked out of the majority of content. I'm not supporting it but I'm certainly not supporting the scam version I myself got suckered into with the witch queen and had to buy delux off certain site.

Note: the "Pass" is not just a seasonal thing like Call of Duty for example (which this has) but also content, missions, events , dungeons, etc.

It gives you "season passes" for the entire year. Gives you extra content that you may or may not consider worthwhile. You don't need it, but it is nice to have.

Annual pass - this is not only access to seasons 21, 22 and 23 (each cost $10 separately) which will be released during the year (approximately until March 2024), but also access to the dungeons of this year (sold for $ 20 separately). In short, by buying the Annual pass you get everything that will be released for the game until March 2024.

Seasons - it's not just a typical battle pass where you get some kind of reward every level. It's also a new activity, some sort of exotic missions, a new storyline. Seasons are all different and they usually expand and continue the plot of the main DLC.

Yes. The main difference between it being called a "season pass" in this game compared to a "battle pass" is that in this game, the season pass gives you access to in-game content rather than just skins as well. With the season pass you can play extra story missions that you can't without it.

It's a really dumb, disgusting, and exploitative bunch of bullcrap. But if you really enjoy the game, they're "worth" paying for. The Annual pass gives access to all the seasons for the year, a total of 4. You can purchase them separately.

Bungie should be truly ashamed of themselves for this garbage. But of course they're not.

I don't consider the seasonal side activities to be substantial content. Most of that is in the expansion itself.

That being said, they do a good job at making you feel like you're missing out if you don't also have the season pass.

On that note, if you pre-order lightfall you get the first season pass with the expansion, so you'd be fine for the forseeable future.
