Flickering during cut scenes and some light sources when playing

same here, its been happening for months now.

ryzen 5900X, 3080ti, have DDU'd and gone through several drivers each with the same issue. isnt my PC as every other game is perfectly fine its just destiny

That's really odd. I have 3060 TI with DLDSR at 1440p and no issues.

Are you guys not getting hot GPU Temps? What does the flickering look like.

I remember I had issues like that in the past with other games and it was my GPU running hot.

my temps are ~60 on the gpu and ~58 cpu when gaming

Getting the same thing.

5950x under custom waterloop
EVGA FTW3 Ultra 3080Ti

Running at 1440p because even this card cannot run 4K stable (Poor Engine)

I dont know if more people have this problem and dont notice or we are the only lucky ones. I think that the less fps the more light sources flicker, cutscenes are 30 fps and bright as hell so its almost puke inducing. For example when i stood near some lamp it was fine with 139 fps but when i clicked on second monitor - Destiny lost focus and locked itself for 30 fps and that lamp started flickering.

When camera is slowly moving and showing people looking at the Traveler while sun is shining - on youtube its perfectly fine, but when i was watching that in-game in 30 FPS i felt like on some rave with flickering light...

I have a question for you. Do you use g-sync? In the past g-sync often was the cause of anomalies similiar to that. Im using g-sync compatible monitor and didnt try playing without g-sync to check flickering

Lock your FPS to 120 or 100. See what happens.

Artifacts on screen usually means overheating GPU.

Make a video of the flickering so we can see. If you take a video, and the flickering is not present in your Clip, it's a Hardware related issue.

Use a App lile HWMonitor en check your CPU and GPU Temps. Check the load aswell.

Flickering is hardly artifact.
And artifacts on the screen usually means already dying GPU, broken VRAM most of the times.

If theres cutscene that i can repeat to select best example of flickering please let me know because i dont see option like that.
