Legendary vs Master Lost Sector Drop Rate

For Exotics? I feel like I have really bad RNG. Did my 1st Legendary Sector and got Exotic Gloves.

I did about 8 there after and got nothing. Just Enhancement Core and Seraph Codes. I do it one time on Master. Took me longer, but still .... Enhancement Core and Seraph Codes. I tried again 2 times before giving up and this time I didn't even get anything at all opening the chest. Just Seraph Codes.

If you kill all of the Champions, Legendary has approximately 25% chance to drop an Exotic, and Master has a 33% chance.

Legendary has the x3 Unstoppable Ogres that came out and x3 Barrier Champs.

Master has like x6 Barriers and x3 Ogres ... I dunno, all I know is damn it took me a while.

But unless I am missing Champs somewhere .... I guess I have just really bad RNG.

some lost sectors are very bad to farm, some are the better - the faster you complete (even not on a plat) - better drops chances = more loot, no point in spending 5 mins for a chance, just wait for a smaller lost sector

And chances has always been bad

As a rule of thumb, never farm lost sectors on the moon, they're hopelessly long, and look out for lost sectors in the dreaming city since they're short and easy

I just really want the Osniomancy gloves. The ones I got from Legendary Campaign doing Witch Queen only has 45 stats total. Like WTF??

Why don't Bungie update these things to scale to your level.

The players who were extra smart about it chose the exotic that they didn't want at the end of the campaign, so that their first lost sector drop would be guaranteed to be a decent stat roll of the other one

Always do Legend.
Do Master once to get the solo flawless triumph and then never after.

Legend is much faster and can be done underleveled and with crappy loadouts by people with nearly no skill, while Master requires decent loadouts and understandings of the gun- and abilityplay.

TLDR for the Grind, do legend.

Yeah, just did Shadowkeep on my 2 other chars only to receive 48 stats on the exotics.. then a nice 10 streak of no drop. This game hates fun.

I'm new ... How was I to know .

Everything is learning experience for me. Wish I knew it before.

But I did some exotic gloves for Unlimited Fusion Grenade Energy after a Melee kill.

Legend Lost Sector rewards are heavily weighted towards an Exotic you don't own.

If you ignored Ikora's reward, then the next time an Exotic drop (25-30% rate) from Helmet Day LLS it will (most likely) be Loreley. And the next time an Exotic drop on Chest Day LLS it will (most likely) be Hoarfrost.

You can get both with high stats very easily (only need to deal with the 25-30% Exotic drop rate).

Meanwhile if you redeem Loreley from Ikora reward, you lose that "heavily weighted" perk and Loreley now only had 12.5% chance to drop ON TOP of the 25-30% chance for Exotic to drop from LLS.
