Item Discovery on Derelict Leviathan Required

What is this and how to do this? I need this to Deepsight Focus Mini Tool Umbrals but I can not, because this is missing?

not entirely sure what your asking but think your asking how to get your first calus mini to focus it? if so you need opulent keys to open opulent chest scattered around derelict leviathan. you can get these keys from opening normal chest or by completing containment as a random reward. you may also get deepsight opulent weapons from opening opulent chest on occasion

When you go to the HELM, you can focus Umbral Engrams...I can not do that even though I have the Skill to...I need Item Discovery on Derelict Leviathan to Umbral Focus it

You need to have found the desired weapon once in an Opulent Chest first, before you can focus new copies of it at the Crown of Sorrow.

yes first you must acquire the weapon which in season of the haunted you need to open opulent chest to unlock opulent weapons. to focus deepsight opulent weapons you need two of the ugrades at the crown

Every Opulant Chest I go to says my Key doesn't match? How do I get Keys?? Patrols?

you need to read the description in of the key by hovering over it in your inventory and it will give you a hint as to which chest it fits in. you can only hold one key at a time.

for example loyal companion is the chest in pleasure gardens by warbeast statue, where water used to flow is in royal pools. iirc there are a total of 6 opulent chest. 3 in pleasure garden and 3 in royal pools

The keys drop from any chest on the Leviathan, can be just the normal random chests, but also the mini event chests like powerful Nightmares, nightmare-guarded chests, the two you can access after Containment, etc. Not sure if they ever get awarded as Patrol rewards. You can only hold one at a time so check your Inventory.
There are six Opulent Chests in total, three are in the Royal Pools and three are in the Pleasure Gardens. The key you hold, will tell you which it will open, it will give a brief hint, like 'fallen greatness' - the chest next to a broken-off Calus statue head, in the Pleasure Gardens.

If it's saying your key doesn't match the chest you inspect, you're at the wrong one, use the description on the key to narrow it down (or just google it, lol). After you open the chest, you'll get an Opulent weapon, and can then receive another key.

Geez, there has to be a faster way to unlock the Mini Tool. Waiting for chests to spawn and running up and down hoping that a chest gives a key is painful.

yeah its not great. especially when there is four different weapons that can drop from an opulent chest so you only get a 25% at the one you want and even lower for a red border. make sure youre running the max range chest finder because some of those chest spawn in odd places
