Witch Queen Deluxe Edition, worth it?

I stopped playing Destiny 2 more than a year ago and I skipped on Witch Queen, is it worth getting now? I know the entire deluxe edition "extra loot" is meaningless now (that's why it's on sale this low in the first place), because the seasons already finished.

The only benefit you get from deluxe now is the Striga ornament and access to both dungeons

Actually seeing as only the deluxe is on sale anyway there really isnt even a choice anymore

I heard that the dungeons will be free once Lightfall launches, is this correct?

There are 9 days left on the S19, you might be able to pick up a weapon pattern or two.

In addition, the sale version gives you the basic edition and the dungeon pass.

I have no idea if the dungeons will be free after Lightfall releases.

There's been no word on dungeons from deluxe becoming f2p. They will most likely stay as payed content.

I'd skip the deluxe if i were you unless you really want the striga ornament. The dungeons can be skipped as there will be new dungeons this year again maybe with better loot too. Or just save and buy lightfall normal edition.

With Deluxe on sale for $19.99 and the base at $39.99, you advise someone to skip the Deluxe?
