I am running now a Void Wiz which I really do love. Basically same concept as above but now everything is Void and Weakens Targets.
Arc is also fun if you have Trinity Goul.
I haven't gotten that deep into Stasis, but I have view some videos. Hence why I got the Deluxe Witch Queen to get those Stasis Gloves and start building into Stasis.
Anyway I think it's worth putting some time into Warlock. One thing you can do is that you can try to open exotic engrams on your Warlock to try and fill out their exotics as well. And if you don't have a killer build for them yet, their Void and Arc subclasses are very self-sustainable. Being greatly benefitted from proper builds but not relying on them to be viable, unlike Solar Warlock that's either trash or broken, no in between. Honestly with Arc soul for Arc and Devour easily accessible with Void, you basically turn the game onto easy mode with those subclasses.
Definitely some of their best exotics are the exotic gloves Necrotic Grips and Osmiomancy Gloves. Problem is you need to do one of those annoying legendary lost sectors or whatever they're called. Repeatedly on a glove day. Which i'm surprised more people don't find that stupid. At least the loot pool is consistently smaller, unlike Exotic engrams. But the champions can really suck the fun out.
The best exotic to shoot for if you're lacking with really good buildcraft stuff like Thorn, Osteo Striga, Traveller's Chosen, or the aforementioned pairs of gloves, is the Fallen Sunstar helmet. Makes Arc Warlock bestial with its cooldowns honestly. The kind of constant uptime Arc Titans wish they had. That said, Arc Titans still have roaming thundercloud Storm grenades. So it may not feature such a strong grenade, but you can really go ham with Fallen Sunstar. Problem is, again, it's a legendary lost sector exotic. Needing to be obtained on a helmet day. And no I don't know whose bright idea it was to cycle which armor slot the exotic drops are for those. Or why you have to do them solo to even get the drops you would have reason to do them in the first place.
Point is, I highly encourage putting some time into Warlock. But even as a longtime Hunter main, I'm not sure if I would extend that same hand to Hunter unless you really **really** like Arc or Stasis a hell of a lot and never ever want to tiptoe out of those unless you're in Crucible. In which case you'd go six shooter golden gun and make everyone in the lobby hate you, lol.
Whatever you end up doing I hope you have fun with Destiny 2. For me personally, I'm taking a bit of a break before Lightfall to avoid burnout. Playing on and off.
Ah an edit. How could I be so foolish? Nezarec's Sin. You've probably heard of it. In a way Fallen Sunstar is to Arc what Nezarec's Sin is to Voidlock. Sure I think it's probably a bit weaker than Fallen Sunstar, definitely less team oriented, but so long as you're landing lots of void kills, made easier if you use your special weapon liberally or you have your primary be your energy weapon, then you constantly have your cooldowns up. I feel silly for not mentioning it. Biggest difference is acquiring it. As unlike Fallen Sunstar, you're looking at random exotic engrams and Xur's selection of exotics each week. But yeah, if Void is more in your flavor than Arc and you're not able to full scale Stasis turret build with Warlock yet, it's a pretty good helmet to have.
