Joining a clan.......as F2P?

I started up a new account on epic to see what it's like new players so I could my husband to play. Unfortunately so far my old arse is unable to figure out how to join a clan....lol.

Google says to just go to Hawthorne and find one but it's not giving me the option to do so. Im not sure whats going on. Unless you're supposed to buy a season pass?

Anyone know the trick for new players?

Are you trying to create a new clan or join an existing one?

Hawthorne is just a store for clan bounties, raid banners, clan rewards, etc. Never heard of joining through that vendor. I have always done it on the bungie website or via the mobile app

Oh thanks. Its been such a longtime since I have looked for a clan I couldn't remember how. And I was very confused on why Google came up with going to Hawthorne and yet there was no options to find a clan...lol.

Just to join and exiting one.

You should be able to click on a player who's already in the clan in the roster tab and request a clan invite. Alternatively they can manually send a clan invite to you. You can also request a clan invite on the clans page if you're logged into Bungie.net (just go to find a clan and type their name into the search bar).
