Lightfall deluxe includes all the upcoming four seasons and the dungeons to be added in
Lightfall standard is just the main DLC without the seasons added in.
Witch Queen, Beyond Light, 30th , Forsaken, efc not included.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1945340/Destiny_2_Lightfall/
Edit: Lightfall will NOT include any of the other expansions like Witch Queen etc.
Sadly no. The season pass is only yearly and covers the upcoming four seasons.
No, there isn't.
You can purchase the Legacy Collection. That includes everything prior to Witch Queen.
After the release of Lightfall, Witch Queen will (in some form) probably be rolled into the Legacy Collection (although do understand, the price will probably increase as a result).
For another week and a half (ish) Witch Queen remains the current expansion and LIghtfall remains a pre-release.
Seasonal Content is seasonal. It represents small, highly transitory content blocks designed to add depth and activity (and a smaller story) to an existing content year. Seasonal content is temporary, and will go away after its existing content year.
Don't pay full retail for any Legacy content at this point. There is a big Steam store-wide sale coming in mid March. It's very likely that the Legacy content will be included. Regardless of whether it is or not, the Legacy content usually goes on sale at least once a Season. Wait for the sale, there will be one and the price will be substantially less.
I gather they want to keep the game going by specific funding, but this is nuts. The witch queen was over priced and this is even worse. What they did is copy COD in their pricing and made excuses on why the price went up. All it really is, is pulling the wool over peoples eyes so they dont look to closely at the price and what they are really NOT getting. For those indicating that bungie NEEDS this pricing point to keep the game going are conveniently forgetting this has been going on for much of Destiny 2's life cycle. Bungie has the money, dont let them fool ya.
I was super stoked about playing this new story line, but this price is way out there and a clear gouge for greed. Guess I will stick to youtube for the story line. Dont get me wrong, if it was more moderately priced to make a profit, and had better options for each specific seasons, but not gouge the gamers, i'd get it, but this type of predatory practice is sickening and sad to see that the wider gaming community is not standing up to prevent this from getting worse. Was reading that people were saying it was $10 per season, but it isnt, it's $16 plus tax, so it is about $17.50 or more depending on your state, so let's round that up to $20 . That is a lot for just one season. Bet you ten to none that the next expansion next year or Destiny 3 will be at minimum 125 usd or $150 if it is the whole new Destiny 3.
I get it takes money to make a game and employ the peeps making them and the the upkeep and serves, but if you go look up Bungies' yearly revenue, it is clear they have the money to not gouge the gamers. All they are doing here is matching CODs predatory practices and gouging gamers by making the price through the roof.
The $100 USD is for the entire content year. That includes the basic expansion, any dungeons, and all four seasons (which, as they become available) remain available for the entire content year.
$80-100 is in the range that triple-A games sell for now. If you think $100 is too pricey for a game that'll last you an entire year ... well... that's your prerogative certainly. I don't think it's an unreasonable price for what they offer.
You do have that option. Or, more to the point, even the BASIC version of the game comes with one Season tossed in. If you want to buy ADDITIONAL seasons ala carte, later in the year, that is within your power to do.
Two options: The ala carte method where you buy each bit of content separately, or the Bundle, where you get the entire content year.
Bungie is a 600+ person company. It costs quite a bit to keep that running, and pay for a campus and servers, and all the coders, artists, support personal (and management).
Bungie is a for profit company. They exist to make money.
To do that, they offer an entertainment product. As a consumer, you get to evaluate their offerings and the price asked in return. If the amount of entertainment seems reasonable for the price asked, then pay, and play.
If it doesn't, well, your options are really to vote with your dollar.
Dude ... stop A): spamming B): promoting a grey-market site.
If anyone wants a legit retailer they should check isthereanydeal.
its just a bot or an advertiser on a presumably stolen account, they wont stop until they're banned
Yeah, probably.
