How's the Sunshot in PvP right now?

I've heard that Handcannons aren't that hot right now in the PvP meta but i've just finished the catalyst and did a test run with it once a while back and i did... fine i guess...

But is it hot or not?

sunshine is actually pretty decent in pvp with the catalyst due to stat boost.
also it's one of the few 150s so pretty unique
definitely not meta but pretty fine nonetheless

Hand cannons aren't meta, but are still the most powerful general use PvP weapon. Sunshot is a surprisingly good exotic, since it has one of the largest and brightest hit visual effects which means getting shot by it is like being flashbanged. Pair that with intrinsic explosive payload and its very annoying to duel, especially for other HC users. So long as you can bear the terrible sights and painful visual recoil, you have a slight TTK advantage over other HCs and a very annoying, bright and explosive weapon to fight. Its really not to be underestimated and you can definitely do work with it
