Crit damage is different to weaken damage
Did anyone else think that weakening targets made all the damage crit damage cause of the yellow numbers?

When targets are under said debuff, crit or not, it will show yellow numbers :D
If it's chaotic like in the Heist Battlegrounds in the boss room, it can be confusing because everything is happening so fast you are probably not going to pay attention to what part of the boss you're shooting at.
