lost sector not dropping exotics?

anyone manage to get exotic drop on this lost sector? ive done it 4 times on legend solo and 2 times on master solo

it's only a 1/3 and a 1/4 chance for master and legend respectively. There's no bad luck protection so you probably are just getting unlucky.

I did run it 6 times.
4 times without drops.
5. and 6. time with a drop.
Then I stopped, because I got what I wanted.

for my gyrefalcons it took me 15 or more runs for it to drop. just had bad luck. sometimes i'll see drops 2 or 3 times in a row. just bad luck on your part.

It's just RNG, I think the drop rate on Legendary is (at most) 25%.

So, yeah, it's well within normal expectations that you might do that many runs and get nothing. It's just a bad luck streak.

There are videos on the old tube to help but I am ready for the next season with lightfall, and should unless Bungie fixes it, get the new exotic armour pieces on the first day they are available without running a lost sector.

You are better off doing it on Legend difficulty. Going through the Lost Sector on Legendary yields better results than master considering you can go through it faster than you would on Master. Not to mention, the drop rates aren't that more common on Master in my experience. Best to do Legendary :D

i got exotic cipher in the end of solo, is that count as solo legendary rewards or just RNG drop?
what if i already got 1 and try repeat solo legendary, is it still droppin' exotic gear as rare drop or i will not got any cause already got it before

You can farm them as much as you want, there is no limit. First will drop exotics that you do not have in the collection, then random.

Last time i did them i got a trash exotic on the 14th go, this time i got to 17 without and gave up.
i'm ok with there being RNG, so long as there's some sort of bad luck protection eg; if you have had 9 platinum completions without an exotic then your 10th platinum completion is a guaranteed drop

I have run it 89 times to try and get the fish boots for Hunter and I haven't gotten a single drop

This will sound inappropriate, but f*** Bungie, and any other game company that thinks THIS kind of RNG is even remotely acceptable.

25% or so is very much acceptable considering lost sectors take 3-5 minutes each. Not to mention the fact that when it does drop, it'll always be one you don't already have.
