Increase in plum error
Is this a server side issue or a issue on my side? cause i am noticing a lot of people are having server issues and i have never encountered the plum error up until recently.

Edit: i have done some tests and it seems the error occurs sometime after 9 minutes. i have timed this about 5 times. and it is always around 9m 35s to 9m 55s.

yea you'd think with bungie's net worth at 2 billion $'s, they would have good server's, guess not :/

i get that, honestly i wouldn't mind if they took a whole season to address issues, untangle their code and fix the net codes and really optimize the game, but i think the majority of the community would throw a fit about the "lack of content"

Since they shut down the API, I have had no errors.
Error Code: PLUM
BattlEye has detected a problem with your computer that may be in violation of Bungie’s Terms of Service.

PC players may also want to ensure that they have the latest Windows update before launching Destiny 2.

Common issues and questions regarding Battleye detection can be found at the Battleye FAQ, which can be reached at the support button below.

Did you read their FAQ? Honestly, if that's not happening to all of us, you likely have something that it's not happy about. It may be something you think is stupid too, but there is something causing it.

Error code PLUM normally appears after a message is displayed from BattlEye. Can you please confirm what this BattlEye message states?

It will appear as a dialog box and should appear over the game window.

it would just say "BattlEye error" i uninstalled a driver i used to use for my controller but no longer do and that seemed to have fixed it? or maybe it just fixed it's self? I am not sure. Thank you for the help though.

just as a note, i've received the exact same frequency of PLUM errors.
And yes, i've troubleshooted the crap out of this and ultimately it always results in under ten minutes of game time before getting booted.

It's not my firewall, it's not my virus checker, it's not my network settings or my hardware settings, it's not my OS update or other software issues - it's quite simply BattleEye being a poorly optimised piece of trash.

This isn't some player side issue when there's literally scores of posts across numerous forums about this exact same issue (google "PLUM error BattleEye" and have a look for yourself) .

Bungie have screwed the pooch somewhere - hope they fix it soon, cos i really wanna play Destiny2 with my pals!! :))

Update:

Ok, so i don't know if it was the latest patch, or whether it was related to removing a faulty xbox controller, or whether it was cos i completely disabled windows antivirus, but the game works for me now.. Just thought i'd update ya on that! :D

im getting "contacting destiny 2 server" so much the game is literally unplayable. just getting DCed constantly.

changing DNS server had no effect
