Statis shards and elemental wells

I use Elemental Shards mod, this mod says: your statis shards counts as elemental wells. I do get some recharge out of shooting the shards (improved ability regeneration) but I do not get Font of Might to proc. I also think that the second mod, Elemental wells, benefits from it.

Is this so, and how do I get it to work?

Right, I just found out I need that one aspect, which I just unlocked, Tectonic Harvest. It will then give increased reload, plus the weapon dmg.
So I got the aspect, and the Elemental shards. Only then can I proc Font of Might or any of the other stuff.

Those are crystals you're shooting, shards are the little floaty ones that normally restore melee energy when you collect them.
