Discord teams usualy becomes to toxic to play with i seen alot.
I have seen non of those, how can the game voice chat be too fast?
We tried Discord once because one of our clan members wanted to. I heard no difference in the sound, but having people pop in that are not in game I found annoying. The only issue I have seen with the in game voice chat is someone who had the speaker show up but I could not hear them, and that might have been them having the mic level too low. When we have a fire team the voice chat always works just fine for us.
OP, are you using software that came with the headset? If so, does it have an EQ?
I have dolby atmos and icue for softwares Icue is complicated so i use dolby most of the time. But this is not an issue for hearing i can hear everyone clearly as day i just cant make them hear me. And im tired to scream while i count backwards at the middle of the night :D
What I've found is to make sure the listen level is at 100. Right click on the sound icon in the system tray, click sounds, click the tab at the top that says Recording, double click your headset, click levels at the top, make sure the slider is all the way to 100.
After that, make sure you have the software specific to the headset installed. I use corsair icue so not sure if the model of headset you have is controlled by icue. Even without RGB icue controls various peripherals in the corsair ecosystem.
Best I can offer at this point.
I use Dolby as well. If you have spatial sound turned on in Windows, it will cancel the EQ setting in iCue. However, it WILL allow you to control the Mic Volume, which is separate from the Mic Volume setting in Windows. So you should still update to the latest and go into iCue and make sure the mic volume is also set to 100.
Edit: The mic has to be active (turned on, on the headset) for the setting to be adjustable.
Anyway - hope you figure it out.
I have maxed every mic settings in the pc. And yesterday was smooth not even a single customer complain anything about my voice. i also discovered i can bend the mic wire of my headset. Im using it over 4 month and now im discovering this. Maybe this can also help.
But i think main problem is people cant hear because of the background sounds.
Sounds great! (pun for fun) Yes putting the mic closer to your cheek or just near your chin helps, but make sure it's covered with a foam guard so any moisture from your breath and such don't ruin it. Speaking of, make sure the mic is dusted well just to be sure.
I don't really have problems with in-game voice chat combined with Nvidia broadcast.
The only advice I can give you, check your WINDOWS settings. Yes destiny 2 grabs the default communication device setup on your windows sound settings.
Creative Sound Blaster or razer synapse does not affect the game voice settings
Im not gona lie even my local clan being toxic time to time they just look someone to blame every time someone ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up. Kind a funny when you know what you need to do :D
