Destiny Blue Screen Of Death

I only have this problem on destiny, no other games but every so often it will randomly crash, freeze my pc, or give me blue screen of death. If you have any idea how to fix this that would be great because when it happens during a match or raid or whatever it is really annoying.

I have the same thing aswell check if your up to date with windos and restart the pc. It windos thing probly

BSOD is 90% of the time hardware and 10% a really bad driver, in my experience. What stop codes are you getting on the BSOD?

Freeze with no recovery in OS is almost always hardware.

So a little update, I haven't gotten the blue screen of death yet, but it has just been crashing, the game will completely freeze and return me to the desktop and close the game

What I'm getting is the game deciding to crash to desktop whilst playing, need to do some Comp PVP stuff for 2 quests and at the moment, I am not going anywhere near whilst it's crashing to the desktop, as I don't fancy getting a temp ban because, the game crashes.

So it just blue screened me, the code it said was "KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED" and it said "What failed:Ndu.sys"

Well I haven't seen BSOD since November 2019 and since Season of the Worthy started I wasn't neither getting any anormality but last night I have been 436 minutes playing and alt+tab couple times and didn't suffer any BSOD but tonight I have played more than 363 minutes and suffered one BSOD after alt+tabbing 13 times the game to check my desktop background programs. Restarted and went to play and after 139 minutes I have alt+tabbed one time and then an instant BSOD again.

Good job for making me uncappable to alt+tab.

Same here,after having alt/tabbed the game just froze and when I returned to the desktop while already having closed the game I was unable to adjust my screen resolution.
It probably crashed the Nvidia software, tried to restart but while doing so it BSODed,the OS (W10)
Fixed the issue by recovery, I have seen people say that Rivatuner (Afterburner OSD) could cause a BSOD as well but played a few hours with that running in the background and didn't notice any problems)

I have to say that ever since this game went F2P it's going downhill.

i know this is old but try alt+enter next time to take you out of fullscreen before alt+tab

alt+tab in a lot of games will cause issues, i find if you exit full screen using alt+enter then alt+tab i have no issues, alt+enter will also return to fullscreen when you're done
