What to do if i got banned?
Hi,
was just doin PvP a moment ago, got kicked out of the session and after login in again it said i got banned.

I don't think i did anything wrong. Started again at saturday (first time since it's on steam), got the season pass one day later and played it from lvl 1 to lvl 26-ish. Maybe 25, maybe 27. Not sure.

Where can i see why i got banned? Is there a way to get unbanned? Someone to contact?
There is no way someone could report me for using an aimbot or something, i'm usually at more deaths than kills, just wanted to do missions for season-xp.

Hello,

I would recommend reviewing all of these sources.

- Ban Policy: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11929

- Ban/Restriction Appeal: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=48629

The appeal form is the bottom link and is located at the bottom of the article.

Normally you can't do anything against a ban in Destiny, but I think Bumgie recently opened up a bit and lets you message them about your ban. If you can convince them that you were banned for no reason, tgey might revoke it.
But each ban is looked at by multiple people before they issue it. And you normally get banned for bad behaviour in chat, or for using tools that they are not okay with.

Thank you. I'll try to message them.
Have never used the chat except the chats per Steam chat.

You got banned from comp or the game?
Ascaard Feb 13, 2020 @ 4:34am
From the game. Can't even go to char selection.

Go post on bungie forum and BNGSecurity will tell you what you did. Most likely you tried to cheat and failed.

You won't get banned for nothing. You hack you get ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Since moving to steam the number of hackers in crucible is insane. I haven't logged since December 28th because of people like you...
Ascaard Feb 13, 2020 @ 5:02am
And who are people like me? I assure you, i didn't hack.
What was at decembre 28th? Haven't played for a longer time since they went to steam. Just came back because my WoW gametime expired. (which got extremly boring with the newest patch)

I don't know what i did wrong, but i'll try the bungie forum and i wrote a ticket.

Nope. I wasn't.
First round in competitive since this Love-Event got live and i got one kill with a sword. Don't know why this should be cheating.

Yeah. I got an ban. That's my problem. That's the topic.
I have lots of other programs in the background and my other screens running, but no hacking programm.

I have an problem and am looking for an answer (and i 100% assure you i'm not running any hacking system). Reactions in this post show me, that there are very few people who try to help., And lots of peoply telling my i'm a hacker and i'm ruining the game... So maybe you're just one of the players who ruin the game for others looking for help.

Normally i'm not cheating and don't know which program it could be. I hope bungie will answer.

To OP, you either:
1. got a virus/malware and running
2. forgot to turn off cheat engine/memory scanner
3. account used to cheat (either you or someone uses your account)
4. hardware banned (hardware used to cheat too much)

There is hardware to cheat? Didn't know that.
I think i'm the only one using my account. Cancer treatment right now and online times from up to 20 hours/day are normal. Don't know if someone else can login, while i'm online.

I'll get an malware check. Didn't think about that. Thank you.
Ascaard Feb 13, 2020 @ 6:10am
I don't use cheat engines. But i had a few malwares on my pc.

I'm broken and on cancer treatment for already 2 years. To much time, no money. I don't cheat. In case i even buy something i can't afford to lose it for something i might get sooner or later.

His stats/recent games on DestinyTracker don't look suspicious.

I'd just contact Bungie and see what they say. No one here can do anything to help you. In the rare case of a false positive, they do overturn bans. If you did do something that violates ToS, you'll be wasting your time though. They keep detailed records of bans and they'll know straight away...

actually from what i understand certain 3rd party programs can falsely trigger that, check what you have installed just in case.
