I don't get the season ending

Misraaks makes tea out of the corpse of the Disciple responsible for the Collapse to cure Osiris and give him Savathun's memory? Nezarec and Savathun are not even connected. How did Misraaks know that would work? Osiris and Saint-14 kissing? Since when are they a couple and how would that even physically work? He is literally a cold, hard robot. Have they been together before Saint became an Exo? None of this makes sense to me.

I literally started playing last season and simply asked some questions. It's not even mentioned on Destinypedia they were lovers, nor was it stated anywhere in the game in the time period I was playing.

literally right at the top of the page it says "to save Saint-14 from his death within the Vex machine. After succeeding in saving his partner"

They've been together ever since Saint-14 season 14, also yeah hes a cold hard robot, don't see why that makes a difference though

I always interpreted him calling Osiris "partner" and "old friend" as a comrade in arms. Since they were both Vanguard leaders, it was way more obvious this way.

Yeah, I read about that just now as well. As someone who missed Year 2 and 3, the lore is all over the place.

I don't think it's really addressed, but assuming humanity's still humanity, even without the relevant bits it's still possible with the right items.

The first time it was ever stated was by a writer on Twitter around Beyond Light, but it was slowly incorporated more explicitly into the lore afterwards. For example you can see Saint commenting on Osiris being very distant during season 14 (when Savathunn was in control of his body). I know that's not every explicit, but besides the summary of season 9 on the timeline, this is the first time it's every been this explicit.

But the storyline, and event storylines? Give me a break.... I don't even know who half of the people in the tower are but I know this Cayde character got what he effing deserved!

I wasn't surprised by any character development or anything like that, but it was very abrupt and cut short, and that tea thing..... Ugh. It feels like there was some other resolution planned and written but they just ran out of time to incorporate it and just.... MAGIC TEA.

Least favorite narrative transition since launch.

Exos kissing flesh faces makes zero sense. Exos have a voice box, no tongue, no lips, no warmth... etc... It would be like a human kissing the slot of a toaster... Super dumb.
