yeah they did something similar with scourge and crown of sorrow but the chance stacked while they were being rotated out, was wondering if VoG is the same. 20 runs today and nothing yet

No, raid exotics are locked to a weekly attempt per character weather or not it is in rotation.

This is simply untrue, farmed vex all day yesterday on titan only on rotator raid and finally got vex twice back to back. Now I dont believe it stacks like anarchy or terrabah used too but it is not a weekly attempt when they are in rotation. I am closing the discussion since after researching yesterday online, the new raids are a locked 5% chance for the raid weapon and while the raid is the weekly rotator all challenges and drops are consistently available.

The bad luck protection does not stack when a raid is the weekly rotator. During that week, you chance is the same every run. It is still the better way to farm it then 3 times a week, but only because you can run it multiple times a day for a week straight.

Yeah I figured this was the case after nothing for 52 runs then getting vex on both my 53rd and 54th run. good to know.

Last I checked, odds do go up when completed for the week per character; dunno if this also counts if its featured. They can be farmed if the raid is the weekly featured one though.

Nothing has changed. Once per week when not featured, farmable when featured, no bad luck protection.

I am in agreement that there is not a 'bad luck' protection feature. The only reason I opened this forum was because there was a brief moment in time before rotator raids where terrabah and anarchy were farmable via a increasing drop chance until leviathan departed (how i got my terrabah and anarchy). Since then from what I can tell there is no 'bad luck' protection anymore and instead the items must be farmed at their standard rate during rotator weekly or 3 character runs a week at a 5% ish (i honestly have no clue but it was all i could find online) chance. I wish all of you the best of luck on farming your desired weaponry or title grinding. Ill award Jag's response as it is short and simple.
