Wow, such a fuss. They 'normally' spawn at the 80% mark. Pause a few seconds, killing it takes another few seconds and move along. I'm glad I don't have a hobby where spending another 20 seconds is the difference between (seemingly literal) life and death.

I told someone the LFG Discord to stop at 50-60% and someone else had a *fit* that I was giving out disinformation. They claim the percent doesn't matter. I think they're likely correct, but they don't *know* that.

I think 50 is a nice safe spot to stop that isn't too far from finished when you want to move on, so I'm still telling people that if they don't know how Ruffians work at all.

50's the mark for a jammer, if it happens at all. After getting all of them done, I don't remember ever having a Ruffian prior to the 80% mark. Being a random event, though I've seen more than 1 Ruffian per area. Of course, YMMV. :) Good luck.

I'm totally with op, I don't blame players for doing that, the blame should be on bungie's poor decision. However, just because their actions are 'understandable' doesn't make it the 'right' thing to do

Again, both sides can say that, the ones in a hurry are interfering with those wanting the Ruffian. The one wanting the Ruffian has as much right to get that as you do to be in a rush.

Again, my entire point just overlooked. If one can tell the other to get a pre-made team to do something, they can say you get one to avoid it. The not so social can go both ways.

I really don't care if you are for or against them, my point is what's good for the goose is good for the gander.
Oh, you don't have a "right" for other people to play like you. I find myself in activities with others who don't do like I do, I don't come running to the forum to whine about it, I make the best of it.
