one of many triumph not working

^ the halloween triumph isnt working ? unless im doing something wrong

appears to be bugged. several people have been reporting its not progressing. also believe the portion of the triumph where you have to clear haunted lost sectors flawless is bugged for nessus. at least for me. i've done it 3 times now and its still unchecked that i cleared it flawless.

15 of the nightmare bosses spawn during the entire thing. 10 you can get before the main boss spawns and then the other 5 spawn while the boss is there to drop the pumpkin bombs.

you have to get all 15 spawned and at least deal some amount of damage to each one to get credit for the triumph.

probably best done with a premade team

So, I don't know if I got lucky and this quest finally stopped bugging, but i've been killing all 15 headlesses since day one trying to get progress on this Triumph and never got one part done. I took this advice and made sure I at least got a few shots off on all headlesses and it actually worked for the first time, I got completion for Nessus.

ive noticed that if u get 11 in the first half it doesnt count even when getting 16 total kills

other then that it seems to work now

Nessus in general appears to be bugged and isn't counting for any of the triumphs that require Nessus.

I'm happy you brought this up. Every time I've done Nessus, I've only ever gotten 9 knights to spawn in the first phase. No matter how fast we went, 9 was all that would spawn. Then boss phase would have the normal 5 knights, bringing the total to 14. One short of the perfect score. I think that's the actual issue, unless other people have gotten all to spawn in both phases. Please let me know if you've gotten 10 knights slain in phase one though, now that you're looking for it.

oddly enough nessus is the only 1 i consistantly get 11 in the first half on

it is on a 5 minute timer before the boss spawns, so my guess is that when you only get 9 of them, it is taking too long to kill the headless and the timer is getting too low before the boss shows up, so it stops allowing you to summon the 10th one. can't confirm that, but if it drops to less than a minute left (or maybe 30 seconds left) it just won't allow the last one to appear.

the vast majority of the time i had 10 dead before the boss with at least a minute and half left on the clock before the boss spawns.

you just have to be quick and nuke each headless one. use grenades, super and your heavy weapon liberally and it shouldn't be a problem to kill 10 before the boss appears.

just an added tip for anyone:i did this triumph for all lost sectors via matchmaking without too much issue but you may want to send an in-game text message to the fireteam to let them know you are going for the triumph and to please not nuke the final boss and let the extra 5 headless spawn in. i did this and it made it go very smooth, plus they are getting credit if they still don't have it for that sector so win-win

first of all, i didn't reply to you, so maybe relax. i was replying to someone else regarding the 10 headless that spawn before the boss.

second of all, nothing was being "insisted"; it was offering advice and if you don't need it, don't take it. end of story. if you think it is bugged, then complain to Bungie about it.

did that had to drag the other team kicking and screaming to get it by destroying the orbs they drop but i did it and still didnt get the truimph

you need to make sure you get all 15 and hit all 15. if one of your ♥♥♥♥♥♥ teammates kills one before you get a hit..it ♥♥♥♥♥ it up for you. i spend hours doing this and its a pain in the ass.

yes i got 10 in the first half. and 5 on the boss. some instances it was 9. but that was beacsue team ran out of time to sumon.. there is a poin where multiples have to be summond in a time limit otherwise you dont get 10. if your getting 9 im pretty sure its because you missed one.

most times yes ive had a time where i was in the circle it counted down then it vanished and respawned we finished the time part with just over a min to spare and only had 9. also when that happened the circles spawned in slower and the mobs were not as numerous

well keep trying. it works..its just a real pain if your with team mates that run head and dont give you enough time to hit one before it goes down. good luck
