New people tend to get joined so fast that its never been an issue, I will it admit it can sometimes change how the games going but its so rare it might as well be a non issue.
In competitive modes sure it sucks but we're talking about control here. Like who cares if they win or lose a control match.
most of these people are probabl ABUSING match making and deserve their ban for wasting MY TIME
People begged and pleaded and screamed for a ranked Elo matchmaking system to get added to control because they were terrified of ever having to face somebody better than them until Bungie added it in, and now along with that comes leaver penalties.
Can't have it both ways. Either control is a competitive mode that must have SBMM or it's meaningless and doesn't need leaver penalties.
Because I'd agree the latter is too harsh, but the former is what literally every other multiplayer game does already.
I thought control was fine as a casual mode before this season but now it just sucks.
I never wanted any changes to the match making system to begin with and I think bungie would have been better putting there reasons towards new maps and improving trials/comp.
... Why are we complaining about this?
If you're leaving enough games to proc it it might be a good time to step away and take a break anyway.
Problem solved.
Its easier to leave than stay and watch your team get stomped.
