Lost 50 Prisims and 10 Ascendant Shards Gone from mailbox

Why? did not know mailbox had a timer.. had colors in mailbox on my hunter for 2 expansions now

Any way to recover it?

theres a max number of slots i think its 3 rows once those fill the earliest drops are deleted

You have to keep an EAGLE eye on the postmaster when your storing materials in it.

i tought if mailbox was full it would not jus pick up new items

if u use dim just check after every gm or event run dont have to visit tower everytime for it :)

over the years I lost over 100 ascendant shards because of blues overflowing the postmaster. While its annoying, it's really on you for not watching the postmaster.

Either way, its fairly easy to get them back with GM and Master NF.

The postmaster does give a warning though, about it being nearly full and that you need to pull some stuff out of it.

Postmaster does not have a timer. But it does have a space limit. Item stacks are also limite to same size as inventory. One character can only store 10 ascendant shards, the rest are destroyed.

As the others have said, the Postmaster does have a limited number of slots, don't use it as storage.

That said, there are ways to help keep track of it. There are a bunch of companion apps you can use to monitor and transfer your mail even if you're not at a mail kiosk. Personally, I use DIM. I check and move items out of my mail all the time with my iPad.

There have been cases of apps accidentaly deleting random items from the vault and other spaces so... yeah. keep that in mind.

Wouldn't it be cool to just not have a ♥♥♥♥ interface overall? I guess thats up for season 4 of lightfall.

Source or it didnt happen. 3rd party applications can not delete items.

So it's was bug caused by Bungie that got patched. Keep that in mind.
