Don't have a good answer for you, but as an INTJ, I completely understand the idea of wanting time not being jostled by other personalities.
In my experience, Extroverts seldom understand that aspect of Introverts, and frequently see introversive behaviors as being either unimportant, or worse, as something that needs to be "fixed".
Why? What's it to you? Whoever that is, he clearly doesn't want to talk to you.
