Ada-1 mod rotation
I cant be the only one who thinks the way to get mods in this game is awful, either they need to expand the rotation or make it to where you can get mods by you know actually playing the game and getting rewards

i agree. It takes new players foreeeeever to get most of or all the mods. Been playing for about a year and I still aint got all them lol

nope not at all. ive seen this same type of discussion on steam/reddit/bungie many times and most of the time its usually older players bringing this up. i play on and off but ill usually play awhile during each season and get to max seasonal rank but i skipped out on the seraph season and missed the warmind mods that came with it. took me until last month to finaly get the last one with how ada's rotation works. from what ive noticed ever since they started vendor selling those mods certain ones seem to be available far more frequently than others.

I jsut wisah they would dump things like "ready and stow speed" mods, there's seemingly one of those everyday.

I fully agree with this.

I think there should be more than 4 available, maybe like 10 or something, and they should be on a specific scheduled rotation, similar to what Cruddy horse said: have scavenger week, ready/stow week, finder week, charged with light week, etc. There are way too many really important mods to just have a random selection of 4

You are 100% right. I took a long break but it looks like the same situation persists.

Earning these through in game activities would be the best way to obtain them in my opinion.
you do earn mods through activites and engram pickups. you just dont earn endgame mods that were put into sale rotation.

i agree it needs to change also, the game revolves around builds now. Mods should be all purchaseable

Lack of a few specific mods screws basically every build I want to make. Elemental armaments, melee wellmaker, and bountiful wells i've been specifically trying to get from Ada since I came back to the game. None have shown up, I think I have 100% of the ready and stow mods now though.

I'm in exactly the same position. Every build I see online I know I can't make them. So I try making variations using similar concepts. Then I get to one of those exact mods you listed as a key piece to make it all work together.
For wells I have pretty much all the addons, but none of the makers.
For CWL I have pretty much all of the makers, but none of the addons.
And I have tons of warmind cells but I didn't play those seasons so I have none of the weapons to generate them.
Essentially that 4th slot in all my gear is a tease.
Every time I think I found a good concept I'm missing the linchpin.

It hasn't been officially said by Bungie so this is just speculation but.

There is a working theory that the reason mods are handled this way is because all those mods in the past were only available to Season Pass holders for the Season the mods were apart off and you usually had to level up the Season Vender to have access to buy them.

So basically this is the recorse for allowing people who didn't get those Seasons to get the mods now for free but still have a grind.

Also the OG Vendors that sold the mods also sold them on a rotation.

Edit.
Thanks for spending money so that you can give me an award that gives your points to me for free :)

the issue is the fact that essential parts of the game are sold on rotation. The fact it has always been a thing doesnt make it any less wrong it just shows bungie doesnt know how to do mod items there should be a quests for modes or bounties or something but having to check every 24 hours is at best a fumble from bungie or at worst bungie using psychology to force people to interact with thier game once every 24 hours making people play it more.

Search "DestinyReminders" then click "current" or on "Today in Destiny" under "vendors".
I think the first one may even send you a mail if a chosen mod is available you search. I prefer to not share a mail or make any accounts if possible. Anyway, opening a link daily is way faster than logging in only for a short trip to Ada.

Melee Wellmaker as a solar hammer titan is something I am waiting for a long time. Missed it when it were once in the rotation.

Melee Wellmaker finally showed up after months last week. Bountiful Wells is available at Ada-1 today if anyone needs it. Maybe seeking wells will show up soon too.
