Also, Warlocks eat grenades.
Have all the cheese to do Zero Hour and whisper heroic, while I get my self rekt jump after jump even with stompees.
I would say Hunter is better for PVP and Titan for PVE, but Warlock can rock both.
You just need to master what you do with it.
1. All skills usefull and interesting
2. Nice grenades
3. Cool grenader regeneration
4. ALL EXOTIC STUFF REALLY USEFULL and INTERESTING
5. All builds nice and actually working (solar, arc, void - all three)
Let's get some more highlight on Void Titan: I personally run with Monte Carlo, so my melee is like 100% of up time. Utility of shoulder charge is insane. You do not only OHK others at pretty long distance, you also disable them, meaning: you see and hear someone activating Super nearby (which always gives away very clear both visual and sound queue across the map), so you Bash him (which also works in the air), and POOF his super is instantly gone and all energy is lost.
Aside from that, you can use that charge as a dodge to get out of sticky situations, which works wonderfully well. And big upside is - it doesn't use up charge. You can also use it to cover long distances. That's only ONE freaking ability we're talking about. What does Warlock have to get at least half of crazy usability like this? Nothing.
Say, Hunters' dodge is nice by itself, but it's worth jack without extra utility of healing/reloading/stealth, you name it. Also underestimating CC grenades is downright stupid. Throwing in flashbang or suppressor, jumping in and slaughter them like helpless kittens. Traps are also amazing, which again, Warlocks don't have. Roaming supers are best in PVP, and for max efficiency, you need:
- Long duration and strong DR.
- Ability to move very fast and frantically.
- Have either ranged or defense option.
Each Warlock roaming is extremely slow. Blink is stupidly predictable, and has very bad perk of when you actually blink, if someone shoot position that you blinked from and arriving at, you get damage from both sources, so it's not an escape tool, only close distance, and still short, and still quite bad.
Being able to quickly move across the map and NOTHING ELSE AT ALL is not what makes class useful for PVP in all honesty...
