Liar's Handshake | Builds? Bugged?
With Arc 3.0, I was wondering if this exotic is useful with the variety of fragments given to us. However, I've yet to find a good build with this exotic that allows for some decent damage output. It's unfortunate that the Anti-Champion melee mod had to be solar, but I'm still sure you can do something cool with LH. So if you guys have any builds I can use with this, I'd love to hear some.

I saw a video fairly recently saying that it doesn't proc when you equip the new hunter super, which is not entirely true. It doesn't proc immateriality after intaking melee damage, and instead requires you to hit a target twice after you've been hit. The video also stated that with the new super, you regain less health. Not sure if that's true or not.

Oh I've used this and compared my overall success in damage and killing isn't as great honestly compared to using Shinbou's Vow. As you stated, the proc is finicky and you gotta do it just right. Nonetheless, it's still a useful exotic if you know how to do it. I almost feel it's more garnered towards PVP survivability. Anyway - as for a build I use with it is the same for either LH or SV.

I also use mods at the final end of the armor (which requires you to level all your armor) which add to the benefit of using arc melee.

1. Well of Ions (Picking up Arc Elemental Well increases your next melee damage) [Any Arc Armor]
2. Hands On (Melee kills gain bonus super energy) [Arc Helmet]
3. Impact Deduction (Melee Kills replenish Grenade Energy) [Solar Arms]

Exotic: Shinbou's Vow (Improves Skip Grenade; Gain two charges; Hits with Grenades replenish grenade energy; Skip Grenades spawn one more drone and pursue enemies more aggressively)

I damn near have constant grenades up at all times. Likewise I combine all this with the subclass mods "Spark of Shock" and "Spark of Ions" which when you kill enemies with grenades they become jolted and then when you kill jolted enemies they spawn an Ionic Trace.

Ionic Traces also replenish ability energy for all 3 not just grenades.

It's a fun marriage of various mods that makes it all work and creating such a build in this fashion for me personally is part of the fun in this game. It's become really complex in a good way that I enjoy. Reminds me of the days of RIFT.

Anyway, if you use DIM great! I can share my loadout with you and you can get a way much better picture of what I'm doing. I created a copy of the loadout to save because I generally continue to modify it and overwrite the old with the new. But for this case as I am certain many others will see this, it will remain as a permanent shareable loadout for reference.

In no way is any of this written in stone of course and meant to be the go to for all Hunters. I have personally found a combination of mods and armor that works for my personal play style.

Let this serve as a template for those wanting somewhere to begin.

As for bugs: I've not seen any mention of it in the Known Issues over at Bungie. But there is mention of it on Red from 10 days ago as of today. Maybe this is why I don't like it because it's bugged. I didn't think of it as a bug but just not as good as SV. Whuddya know?
