Destiny 2 mission stuck

so i logged on yesterday to start the new season, i get going and everything is fine i get my new artifact and i get a quest call ahoy away, now the mission statement says that i need to visit spider in his eth tank i order to see the cut scene of him talking, which at that point i would then get the quest to do season activities, but it just says 0% on the indicator on the left hand top corner when i hit E, and i cant seem to move past this, when i talk to spider its just a blank screen, and its really making me frustrated, ive reinstalled 2 times.

Okay, first off, do you own a Season Pass for S18 (The Season of Plunder)? You need an active season pass to progress beyond the introductory mission.

If you do have a Season Pass, then look in your quests, there's a Captain's Map/Atlas in there, right-click on it and equip a basic map. You'll have to redo that after every time you use it and it takes some special seasonal currency to do.

Then do a Ketchcrash mission (actually, probably several Ketchcrash missions.

Pretty sure you'll need to do an Expedition and a Plunder mission too.

... and when you talk to Spider ...

I suggest taking the Engram on the far right.

Yea i have the full season pass for all 4, ill look around the season pass tab and see if that helps, thanks for the input i appreciate it. i just want to slam my head into the wall.

i go to talk to spider and noting still i even check around my seasons tab.

From your discription I'm not totaly sure at which point in the questline you are.
But after completing the seasons intro Quest and talking to spider, there should be a symbol for the ketch-crash activity on the helm map, which you have to complet to advance the quest line.

thats all i can see, no know talked before, no quest intro nothing just jumped to orbit and sat there.

open the map of the helm and look if you got the marked symbol.

Normaly that should appear after you talked with Spider. It's the ketchcrash activity and must be completed to advance the story. If it's not there, than I'm out of ideas.

the only one on my helm map is just the on to the rite of the one you have circled, i dont even have the activities on my map showing up so i cant join.

that's odd. Then I don't know what else you could do to get the activitys. Seems to be bugged.

it's killing me im just running old content leveling up my artifact maby it gets fixed on reset

Pretty sure you have to complete the first Plunder mission before you can talk to Spider.

you need to use at the end of the mission one of the spots at the end.
if one of your team mates is too greedy and uses all 3 ... well then badluck for you.
gotta do it again.

I can't start any plunder missions. I don't have any maps under the quests section. I can't access any of the season of plunder content.

like explained, look into your quest.
there is a quest called atlas, rightclick it? or was it left click o.o? iunno.
you then putt the basic map you got into the slot and then at the h.e.l.m. map overview can you start it. mark the quest aswell to find it easier.

it isnt that hard to find tho.
