For Beyong Light, you have to re-grind all of the Stasis stuff anyway at the end
Never dismantle a weapon/armor on your character that got a higher item level for the current slot, even if it's just rare (blue), it counts towards your characters powerlevel even if it's not equipped.
Each quest (campaign/bounty) gives XP towards bonus Powerlevels for the season artifact item across all your characters.
TLDR: Playing all three classes (campaigns/bounties) gives you bigger bonus levels across your characters artifacts (shared). (Recommended and for the fun to get knowledge to understand other classes) but it will consume your time though.
Atleast Beyond Light got unlocks for your Stasis subclass in the campaign so it is recommended if you want to explore Stasis. Beyond Light even requires you to grind the materials to unlock the fragments for the Stasis subclass on a weekly basis.
(Sorry for bad grammar, you will get used to it if you try.)
Which includes upgrade modules.
