Cross saving doesn't transfer DLCs?

Does anyone know if there is a way to transfer the DLCs I've already payed for to my steam account? I really do not want to have to spend $150+ just to be on level as other players.

DLC's are platform bound unfortunately so if you activated them on PS4/5 or Xbox, and move over to PC you'll have to rebuy content :(

you will still have everything on your character, just cant access the activities i believe. only the season passes transfer as far as "extra" purchases go.

Hi there

DLC is licensed by the platform, not by Bungie. When you purchase a DLC, you are purchasing the license to use that DLC on that platform. This is how DLC has worked for years.

Cross Save does not grant entitlements to DLC or transfer licenses for DLC to other platforms. If you wish to access the DLC on other platforms, you will need to purchase it on that platform.

Do my previous game purchases transfer across platforms?
Destiny 2 expansions (ex: Forsaken, Shadowkeep) do not transfer between platforms with Cross Save. Destiny 2 Season Passes!
(ex: Season of the Undying) do move between platforms on the characters they were redeemed on

You don't need to spend $150+, it only costs $160 to get everything currently in the game and that inudes all the stuff that does transfer and as such doesn't need an additional purchase.

To gain access to everything you need the Legacy Pack ($60) and The Witch Queen ($40). I'd probably skip the 30th Anniversary Pack since the gear/cosmetics can still be used and it only gives access to the Dungeon otherwise. If you aren't bothered about access to older content then you can pass on the Legacy Pack and just purchase Beyond Light ($30) on its own if you want access to Stasis.

All those prices are of course based on full price rather than waiting for a sale.

Wait until a sale, I got Legacy + Witch Queen standard for $50 or so. then I found the Bungie Anniversary for $11 on a website.

On key sites, legacy goes for about €17 and witch + 30th for €45. Not too bad. I own all on xbox (via argentina vpn: €5 for legacy and €15 for witch+30th).

Also if you buy deluxe edition for one platform (DLC+Annual pass) you could just buy only DLC for another platform, no need to buy Deluxe twice. But Dungeon quest should be started on the platform with the Deluxe dlc in order to play it on the other platform.
