No masterwork border on my shaped weapon.

Pretty much whats in the title. I reshaped my Calus Mini-tool with an enhanced intrinsic and two enhanced trait perks and it doesn't have the gold border around it. It's strange, since my Austringer doesn't have this problem. I know its just a minor thing, but it bothers me.

As you can see I did everything that Bungo wanted. +10 Range for frame and enhanced Threat Detector and enhanced Incandescent to be precise. Still, no masterwork.

I have the frame on my Syncopation-53... it's level 32 and has two enhanced traits.

Edit: It works, I just reshaped my glaive. It's exactly like evilsight2k posted.

Maybe there's something wrong. I did this masterwork two times in the last 24 hours and it worked for me.

I just noticed the same on a weapon I just crafted and I was wondering: Is your weapon Level 20? I forgot that the “enhanced frame” gives a further slight bonus at level 20, and I wonder if THAT’S when then gold border shows up.

Having same problem with ''Calus mini tool'' I'm using Range Masterwork, Corkscrew rifling, Accurized rounds, Enhanced Threat detector and Enhanced Incandescent.
Might just be a bug since it doesn't work with the mini tool right now

I made an Austringer last night and got it to 15 this morning for the perks I was wanting. It has the Gold border so getting it to level 20 has nothing to do with it. lol

Enhanced incandescent seems to be the common problem, i just crafted a drang with enhanced wellspring and enhanced incandescent and it doesnt have the boarder

This is missing the most important piece of all, the weapon needs to be level 30 as well. Considering you can get some enhanced traits way before level 20 I'd imagine this is the issue OP is having. Grind those levels, go back to reshape BUT DO NOT SWAP ANY PERKS, just go to edit it and click reshape, the border will be added and will cost no extra resources.

The gold border does NOT need the weapon to be level 30, or even 20. It just needs an enhanced intrinsic and two enhanced traits, so can be attained at whatever minimum level is needed for those perks. It's easily proven, here's my Submission that had a gold border as early as Lv 12 - https://imgur.com/a/iOdW0Px

As Jimmo mentioned, it looks like enhanced incandescent is the culprit. Maybe because it's a totally new perk, it hasn't been configured properly. People have been getting the border just fine on Austringer but are unable to get it on Drang and Calus Mini-Tool, and the one thing in common has been Enhanced Incandescent.

I was wondering why some of my maxed out crafted weapons have the gold border while my Calus Mini-tool does not, then I found this thread.

As a test, I tried swapping out Enhanced Incandescent for some other random enhanced perk, but that did not fix the issue. So, I swapped it back and of course it's still borked.

And yes, I wasted an obscene amount of materials on this... Doh!

Hey so, this is a known issue, Bungie is aware of it.
No ETA on a fix yet.
