When did they change the tutorial for the game and the main story?

I've played this game a long time ago, before it was on steam and when i did play it i remember having a very cool tutorial where it showed all 3 main* characters (Cayde 6, Titan and that chick, she seemed boring to me) and showed all of their strenghs and weaknesse, and the story actually being very cool, in the last mission or one of them you would board this giant ship and go to beat a giant dude in a very cool armor. (sorry if it were spoilers)

Yeah I started playing 1 or 2 months ago. And the intro was very boring. I almost stopped playing honestly.

It must have been a long time, long enough to forget. From Forsaken, where I started on the tutorial starts off exactly the same up to the point you found a ship to go to the tower with, now you meet Shaw. The forum had many complaints about the tutorial not teaching them things, I was OK with it. The tutorial ended with finding your ship, once you head to the tower was the start of the Red War campaign. The tutorial does more to show how to play than it did then.

You didn't beat Gaul (the giant dude), the Traveler did) and that was Red War campaign.

Edit: If this is another one of those "They took the content out, how dare they!" threads, you can post them all day long and it won't change anything, it is what it is, year one content is all gone and we may never see it again.

You are probably right? I think i started before Forsaken was a thing, but i cannot confirm cause i don't know even after i searched for the answer.

I don't agree with that sentiment at all dude... It is actually useful to talk about these things. As a matter of fact we discussed this thoroughly with @trukr up there. You can go back 2 pages and read the thread with 50 something entries.(The title is "Question about current state of Destiny 2") Feedback is feedback whether some people see it valuable or not and Bungie do read these discussion pages alongside people who might want to get information about these things like yourself.

In my opinion they butchered the game just to make more profit and they still most likely plan to delete content from it as we speak.

What has that to do with anything being discussed here? What I said is just fact, the start of the tutorial is the same as it was before the game moved to Steam and Gaul was not part of the tutorial.

What I pointed out was the importance of feedback in the countless posts related to the removal of content from the game and people's valid concerns about it and as you can see I inadvertently made my other point clear as well Bungie/steam actually read and moderate these forums and feedback from here don't go to waste, contrary to the way you so vigorously tried to make it look like...

Feedback is important, screaming at the sky is not. Complaining on THIS forum is screaming at the sky. Yes, Steam moderators are here, Bungie almost ignores their own forum, they aren't here. You want to give feedback to Bungie, I hear Twitter and redit are the way to go. The moderators here, are volunteers. I mostly respect the moderators around here, it's not like they get paid to baby sit us brats.

My problem with these threads is they start to look rather formulaic to me, maybe it's just I'm sick of them, I am, but I think it's because most of this isn't sincere. So much of it reeks of the activism like the review bombing of Borderlands 2 by the people upset that Borderlands 3 was only on Epic for a year. All this is why I think they should ignore the people and just look at the sales and activity reports. Reasonable things in the feedback forum are fine though.

And just to let you know, you didn't upset me, you don't owe me any respect. Where it is true that you catch more flies with honey than vinegar, I'm not a sensitive snow flake and it's OK with me as long as what you say is not a call to action to hurt me.

they deleted the Red War Campaign (the tutorial) as part of removing planets when releasing Beyond Light. since then, getting into the game is utter trash.

2 I point out that complaining here is like screaming at the sky, because Bungie is not exactly hanging out here, and you try to twist that into an attack on someone?

Sadly these forums are full of people that claim, "it's just I'm sick of them" and use this excuse to continually post and reply in a disrespectful and nonconstructive manner to "shout" others down.

Frankly the best and easiest solution to apply if you're sick and tired of such threads is to ignore them...however if you keep replying and posting in them it shows something else IMO.

Opinions are like many body parts, everyone has one and everyone is allowed to express them in these forums. If you strongly dislike certain one's it does not give anyone the right to be passively aggressive.

Sadly the people running the game have decided paid expansions can and should be removed from the game. I can see how that would be okay with seasonal stuff however they have decided the same goes for content that was suppose to be permanent.

Expect more content to be removed as time goes on.

Myself I will not give this game one more red cent since I simply dunno how long they will let me use what i paid for.
