New player- do you Beyond Light to visit Europa?

I have a quest called Armor Synthesis Introduction directing me to Europa, but I can't get there because there's no landing zones showing. I can get to every other location though, including the ones for other DLCs. Does it require DLC? Bug? Or do I need to do something first? Sorry, I've never played a game like this before :(

Last I checked, none of the destination patrol zones are locked behind their DLCs, but you may need to level up your power before some become available.

There is a starting mission for Beyond Light that everyone can do and it's required to unlock Europa. Don't ask me the name of the mission, I have slept a time or two since then.

this is a bug that is pretty common! you have to find the quest archive and pick up the beginning beyond light campaign mission. it is located in the tower and there should be a marker for it on the map

I have the same problem, however, I went to the quest archive and there wasn't any quest on any of the 6 sections

you might have to get to certain power level i have the DLC had to grind to power lvl 1398

Yeah there's an intro quest to each expansion that is free for everyone. It's the opening cinematic and the very first mission. Once you complete that you should be able to access the Armor Synthesis quest with no problem.

I just did that earlier and it is annoying have to go through the intro for a non related quest. It makes sense and all. It just should be better. I enjoy the game but it is a sloppy mess.

weak ass im 1767 and still dont have a way on europa and i dont have beyond light

You have to do Darkness' Doorstep to unlock Europa. It's the introduction mission for Beyond Light that everyone can do. Likely will find a large blue icon on the Europa map to start that.
