Vox obscura needs matchmaking change my mind

♥♥♥♥ having to go onto reddit or wherever just to recruit randoms, just add matchmaking. there is 0 reason to not have it on this absurdly difficult mission.

or stop locking exotics behind terrible mechanics like this. This is why people ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate this game.

Yea I have only ever used GG once and that was around early shadowkeep days. I just play raids with the clan or go to LFG discord.

I never used the Discord LFG tbh. I'm on Xbone X but the lfg there hasn't been bad from my experience. The only real problem is social anxiety.

Does anyone actually heard about Fireteam search? That's the easiest way to get a fireteam and clear end game content. I've been using it for ages making a fireteam myself and i always get people to join me within 5 minutes. it's dead easy. People are so clueless man. You can even do it on your fking mobile dude

In my experience the most militant "I demand open matchmaking in raids" people have been the people that get kicked from LFG runs for their toxicity. That's why they refuse to take the 90 or so seconds to go to any of the myriad of LFG sites and boards and take about as much time to get in as it would to matchmake (except the matchmaking would die within the month because nobody wants to put up with matchmade randos in hard content and then LFG would just be faster anyway lol).

I have ran into players like that quite a few times. Last one was a vow run where we all thought everyone knew what to do. We got to aquisition and realized quite quickly the player that had the biggest mouth also had no idea what to do and didn’t care. Even to the point that said person blatantly said the goal was to be carried and didn’t want to do a thing.

But, D2 has a match making service via Bungie. Yes, it is a bit clunky being out of game but you can use the app as well for those not on pc who can alt tab.

The in game LFG is good enough to finish 95% of the content in the game as long as you are prepared for some runs to be less than stellar. On the other hand I’ve finished Nightfall GMs that way as well. It is filled with people, getting groups takes only a few seconds for the most part most of the time.

Raids and dungeons like Duality that require comms need more coordination or it is just a waste of time. Destiny provides ingame voice support but, nobody uses it so Discord it is.

More annoying about Vox is that it takes 3 runs to get enough champions for the Pinnacle as 2 runs gets you 98%.

Look at the raid report of the people who say put matchmaking in raids. It's empty. They never raided once in their life. But I do understand the ease that it brings. With no need to use the Bungie LFG. But everything else is the opposite of ease. It will be an utter disaster.

If people can't use ball on corrupted, there is no reason to have matchmaking. People on seasonal activities can't/don't care about objective and just fail activity is amazing to say the least.

Why? Not only you would need to people know the basic mechanics, but also communicate and cooperate. Good luck with that. I tried to do Guided Games and it took 7 hours to do 1 raid, because no one wanted to cooperate or use heavy/super on DPS phases.
