I just finished it on my main do i have to do it on both of my alts aswell?

Progress on campaigns is character based, so you will need to complete the campaign on each character.

You will also need to progress through the evidence board quests on each of your characters to unlock the other exotic flavors. There is one per class.

And your throne world xp is character based too.

Throne world XP and reputation is account based, not character based. also once you have completed the bounty board and crafted the exotic glaive on one character, you can get the other 2 glaives as random drops in Wellspring.

to answer the OP, to have access to the Throne World location you must complete the first 2 Witch Queen missions. this has to be done per character, but once you've done the first 2 missions, you don't have to go any further in the questline if you don't want to. however, to unlock the 2 expansion armour exotics for each character, you have to complete the full campaign for that character
