Why do people like pvp so much?
Every single content creator i see for destiny only talks about PVP content and never talks about PVE even though PVP is about 20% to 30% of the game. Not only that but pvp is still (and i think will always be) a unbalanced mess with metas that are so strong that if you don't use them you may as well be farting in the wind. If anyone knows of any pve content creators please point them my way cause i'm so sick of just going "oo0 destiny 2 content in my feed!" Then just seeing that it's all about the new meta that will make it even harder to play pvp....

Funny that you say bots when you enjoy pve when you are killing literally bots. There is nothing fun about watching people playing pve when you can just do it yourself. When you play PVP its against another living breathing human and it becomes a chess match. Who can aim better who has better positioning etc. But hey I get it its not for everyone just like how pve is not for everyone. Personally people who only like pve in a shooter game are just bad at playing against another person and should stick to borderlands or loot shooters that dont have pvp so you can get them easy kills against bots.

Cause it's a fun unbalanced mess, although fun is subjective people love Destiny's gameplay, and in general fps players are mostly pvp players, look at, cod, battlefield, csgo, valorant, halo, etc. It makes sense that people like to watch pvp content because that is what most fps players like, even if it might not be fun 60-70% of the time

Halo = Decent story, played it, finished the story, moved on
CSGO = Played it for a little while....got bored, moved on
Valorant = Interesting, but lacks a story that keeps me entertained.
CoD = The Stories tend to be predictable and short, after that, i move on
Battlefield = I tend to get bored after the story is finished.

Overall, pvp is so boringly predictable, more so than the AI, which is funny.

Pvp is an Alpha/Sigma thing bro you wouldn't get it. Just stick to your pve or maybe play borderlands I hear it doesn't have pvp and its ezpz mode.

The worst thing about PVP are the servers, hit reg and match making... so all of it.

Creators cover PVP because 90% of players play Hunters and most Hunters play pvp only;(which is why Hunters fail for the most part at class based seasonal events and anything requiring teamwork). PVP allows Hunters to jump around, ignore zones, avoid helping team mates in fire fights, and not be penalized. You can't succeed in PVE content I.E. get loot, without following mechanics and working together. For example, you can finish top three in PVP Control matches without capping a single zone and still get great loot at the end of the match including exotics even if your team lost. As long as players get rewarded for not contributing towards a win in PVP; Destiny 2 PVP will continue to have a small player base and be garbage. People play PVP when a new weapon comes out and generally stop once they get the weapon which is why there is such a fluctuation in the amount of players. I like PVP in general but cowardly play which is the Hunter META, doesn't suit me. I prefer to trade blows and whoever lands their shots or properly uses cover wins. You put up a good fight, you get a salute, you run at 50% health after trying to shoot me in the back I run you down and tea bag you...simple.

bad analogy, in chess everyone has the same pieces, in Destiny 2 mods, armour and weapons differ, there are a thousand combinations, higher level players get better mods, weapons and stats obtained by higher level activities and then get placed into non-sbmm to farm average to poor players.

I absolutely love PVP, it's the only way to get Pinnacle while at the same time working my way to the 0.00 K/D. Skill and game mode issue, PVP just not for me.

D2 pvp would not be half bad if the game would not match strong to strong, weak to weak players, it gets ultra boring very quickly. Those 0-5 / 5-0 matches are the default.

But thats what it's doing, its not matching strong and strong and weak and weak?

The game is throwing weak players and 1 god into the same team on your side and then throw you against a enemy team of pure gods, instead of same skill.

actually...it's not doing either, because this game doesn't have any matchmaking, Only peer to peer.
