What does it mean when a dungeon or raid is on rotation?

I am still unsure what weekly raids/dungeons mean, I know there is a pinnacle gear feature but I keep hearing that they are farmable during the week. Does it mean you complete the dungeon/raid multiple times and still get loot?

That is correct yes. Not only is there a pinnacle reward at the end, but the individual chests can be farmed for loot drops as many times as you want.

it means,

1) Its farmable for loot drops on repeat clears

2)The raids have all they're double drops challenges active(challenge modes)

3)The final encounters drop high level gear(pinnicale)

4)weekly featured raid exoitcs are also farmable (eg . Vex Mythoclast, Thousand Voices)

5)Raid and dungeons that have a hard mode version (master mode) will also be acitve as well
