Gaining patterns?

How do i gain certain patterns? first few i got were quick but I got a quest telling me to craft 3 weapons but I literally cannot get 2 of them

Eventually you will loot weapons with RED borders.
Use those weapons till 100% on the bar on the weapon to gain resources.
Doing that on enough of the same type of weapon may eventually gain you the pattern.

Some of the weapons with the red border can gain a pattern by dismantling the weapon.
It should be listed on the weapon itself if this is the case for that particular weapon.

I am getting those but why am i not getting every one but the two i need? Like time to pass or whatever its called

Come to Pass drops in the wellspring activity on the throne world. It might drop outside of the wellspring as well on the throne world but the chance is higher to get on the wellspring activity.

Keep in mind: The wellspring activity rotates daily, today it drops come to pass auto rifle.

Oh okay thanks. Im amazed they dont clarify that in any way. If they did i must have totally missed it
